thanks snakeman8! as far as i know, it's a morph. being so excited at the expo (White Plains, NY) :D, the one thing i didn't request was parental info/pictures; i just asked about his prior care & did an inspection. however i did gauge the breeder who claimed & seemed to be pretty experienced. i think i'll e-mail him to confirm that

poison123, i've never seen a yellow rat snake in person but the ones i've seen online all have racer stripes from head to tail so i believe it's a texas. however i'm nowhere near an expert. i'm going to send my breeder a pic & ask if this is a specific morph. i'll get back to you on that
