does anyone have any info on these or have one. ive seen a lot of cool pics about them but have never seen one in person. Are they really as colorful as the pics i see on the internet? do they keep their color patterns throughout their lives? can you breed any carpet python type with green tree python to get those?

Those are called "Carpondro"s.

yes they're that colorful, but the color and pattern depends on the adults used.
yes they maintain their color and pattern, but like all snakes it can change a little bit with each shed. What I'm not sure of is if they go through a color shift as they mature from babies to adults, but once adults they don't change much.
yes you can, different localities will yield different looking offspring.

If the father is a carpet, it will have a carpet pattern, the same if the father is a green.
Their very beautiful hybrids.

reason is i have a male carpet and a female green tree was wondering if it would be worth breeding them

yes, it would :)
and i dont think they go through a color change like greens.

where in orange are you reptileexpets.
my gf likes how they look and the way i see it even if they dont produce anything i still get a green tree python out of it and if they do i at least can keep one of the babies. does anyone have advice on how to pick out a gtp some ppl have told me to go for the reds others have told me it doesnt matter because almost all of them will end up all green. i have also heard that ones from specific locations give you more chances of blues and yellows

while I can't advise you on the locality aspect, I would definitely say go for something that would increase the blues and whites. At least that's what I would do. Possibly my favorite carpondro I've ever seen pics of.

My Male GTP (Unknown locale - but presumed a mix of highland locales due to blue line down his back - though it is faint).
If I was to buy a GTP just to work with Carpondros with, I would do Aru or Sorong . . . or Cyclops if you really want to spend the money to get the blues.

well wish me luck im going to pick it out tomorrow anything i should look for or avoid. some people ive talked to have told me the darker the color on the babies the better chances f it having good color as an adult not sure if it is true or not any opinions

Avoid snakes with kinks, pinched skin, dry looking. . . Don't just a chondro by its temperament though, go for beauty all the way!

but is it just a crap shoot since they change colors as they grow or is there some sort of science behind looking for something that might tell me this snake has a better chance than the others to have nice color patterns as an adult

Really not sure, unless you can see the parents, it's a gamble as far as I know.

In my opinion both are more beautiful individually than the result of a hybrid is.

Don't know if I'd be able to resist one if I saw a Carpondro at the White Plains show...

I think a Darwin carpondro would be INSANE!!! Put that in albino form and I thing something crazy will be produced.
I've never seen this kind personally. How I wish I could see one.

I guess the coloring is in the genetics, if the father is a
albino darwin, the domainent traits will
be of albino darwin, and vice versa.
