Has anyone who's kept Tokay's know if they will eat crested gecko diet? I heard that it is good to supply them with this. Currently I am only feeding dusted crickets.

And if I were to use a CGD should I still put crickets in?

Correct me if I am wrong but I am pretty sure they do not eat CGD and are 100% carnivorus. So more bugs less paste ;)

I was told from the breeder he only feeds crickets and he's been breeding for awhile, but I've been reading online and they were saying that it can be good for Tokays.

I wish I had more for you but I am pretty sure they eat like a leo so no CDG.
I have a leo and a day gecko. The day eats both but not the leo.
My advise would be try it if you have some. If it eats it great ,if not don't waste your time.

I know for a fact they do eat fruit, but I could probably achieve the same nutrition by gut loading and calcium/d3 powder.

I have tokays. Mine eat fruit and bugs. Yes, you need to offer fruit. CGD would be a great alternative.
