View Full Version : I think I may have made the worst mistake, or I'm being dramatic. Baby king snake.

I was cleaning the water in my baby kingsnake's enclosure (I'm not sure exactly how young, but he is probably only about a foot long) and he came out of nowhere and bit my middle finger. It was so sudden and I jerked my hand away without knowing what had happened, until I realized it. Now I'm really worried that teeth may have come out, but I have no idea what their teeth look like to know, but I did see some little tiny specks but they were black and looked like small hairs and the bite didn't break the skin. If teeth did come out, is it dangerous to the snake? I feel really bad and hope that nothing happens.

i've seen pictures of big snake teeth broken off in people's hands and arms :P the snake can regrow its teeth.

My female boa got me right on the wrist, bad enough I had to go to the er, with an xray there were 6 teeth they had to pull out. That was about 2 weeks ago, she already has signs of some regrowing. They are like sharks with their dental abilities.

Okay, thank you everyone. I guess the answer to my question was "being dramatic."

Haha I love how nuts Kings can be about food. Mine make me smile everytime I feed them because they come shooting out of their hides and practically jump out of the enclosure at me.
