I'm looking for inexpensive but nice looking hides for my BP, but I'm having a hard time finding any cheap enough to buy. I just can't seem to justify spending what pet stores ask for reptile hides.
He has almost outgrown his current hide so I need something soon.
Any ideas much appreciated!

Go outside and find a broken log the right size..
Seems to be the best price and gives a great look. I have done this a few times :)
I buy dollar store lttler boxes. Cut a space out for a door and smooth the plastic edge. cover the outside with non toxic clue, add peat moss or coco husk to the outside. Looks pretty cool and is super cheap.

Reptile basics plastic hides, if you want more of a naturalistic look you can always adhere some bark onto it.

reptile basics hides period. They are cheap, super easy to clean, and they don't look that bad in a naturalistic enclosure. I have them in ALL of my enclosures minus the adult retics.

Exclusive snakes. They have a few hides for sale. I have ordered from them and shipping is pretty quick. And they are right here in Ontario.

If you want cheap go to a dollar store and look throughr their plastic plant pots. Upside down with a section cut out looks nice,is cheap and easy to get one today.
Top right is one I did. If its too tall inside to be cozy just hotglue a plastic plate i side at the height you want. Also available at the dollar store. The botton is a litterbox for my sunglow boa.

Anytime is a good time.. No leaves on the trees and the cold weather help you out a ton. They take a lot of the work out of it for you. No leaves= easier to spot good pieces and the cold weather will kill off most of the bugs you would normally find living on the good pieces.
