Hi everyone! So the savannah monitor I contemplated in this thread:

has passed the 30 day quarantine. Poops and urates look great and appear often, it's active, growing, and shedding. And unfortunately for me, this individual seems to be showing both male and female characteristics. But only time will tell. :) But it looks different from my confirmed female for sure.

Thanks! :) I'm happy to hear you all believe him to be male. Either way, preliminary introductions have been well-received by both parties. My female Liam appears to be gravid so I'm waiting until that situation is resolved to introduce them.

The new sav has more than doubled his mass and increased his total length by 5 inches in the six weeks I've had him. I am also able to handle him beginning this week and he isn't biting as often! :)

Very nice looking Savannah Monitor, can't wait for mine to grow that big. And the Vivarium looks very spacious with plenty of depth.
