He's very handsome! If he is truly amel, his head will whiten out and his yellow will get a bright, straw-like tone to it. Amels are gorgeous!

Ive never seen a python with its head dish shaped like an arabian, is that normal? Ive never seen anything like that.

Yeah, that's what I'm waiting for =3 He's got the right eye color, though!

I don't know...I know there are lots of different head shapes, though. =3

Did you contact the breeder and ask about parental lines? Amels x amel can only produce amel, or hets x hets of course. But since Amel is type 3 I believe, it is not compatible with any other type of albinos. So if the parents were type 1 purple x white or x lavander or what not, then it would just so be a very lovely white, and there is nothing wrong with that! Great looking snake.

Yeah, I'm not worried either way =] I got him from a friend who bought him at auction and doesn't remember who the breeder was =/ might have to breed him to find out for sure, to an amel and an albino. =]

Thats a whole lot of meat to take care of! I'd suggest you pick up a 25%SD Amel girl from Stephanie over at the snake pusher to pair him with. It would be a nice Amel girl to have, plus it would be more manageable size wise so you weren't stealing the neighbors goats and pigs, or scanning the want adds for free dogs ;-) (joke).

Bahaha, once he's big enough, i'll be breeding rabbits so they'll never go hungry =] that amel is gorgeous, but i don't have the money for her right now =[ plus, the bigger the better ;D

amazing looking snake. he's put on alot of size keep doing what you're doing he looks great!
