I'll be picking up this little female Mollucan Python at the Montreal Expo on Sunday. I've been waiting to find one of these for a little while now. I was stoked to find one in my area at a reasonable price. She is still in her dark phase but i'll make sure to give you guys an update when her colours lighten up. I'm still unsure how her temperment is really going to be but she is apparently pretty docile for such species.. but I must admit that I kinda like turning those little monsters into peaceful giants :)
Her quarantine enclosure is currently up and running and her permanent enclosure was ordered from powerhouse diplays today!

She looks beautiful!
Out of curiosity, how much was the shipping for the enclosure?

Thanks a lot guys!
@erichillkeast: I ordered it via the local supplier in ottawa which is dino's reptile so there is no shipping cost unless you need dino's to deliver it to your door. They have a pretty complete website for further info!
@marvelfreak: males usually don't exceed the 10-12' margin and females tend to stay smaller.. They are usually half as thick as a carpet of the same size with the typical scrub temperment.

Congrats! Farm hatched I assume? I only ask because I.know there has been some problems getting cbb offspring to thrive so most are captive or farm hatched

Yes she is indeed farm hatched. I usually like to stick to CBB babies for my animals but decided to get her anyways since i'll probably never see another moluccan in my area. What i had planned was the regular quarantine procedure as i'd do with any new critter + I wanted to give her a dose of panacure to de-worm her to be on the safe side.
Does anyone have any other advices as for precautions to be taken with an import as this is my first one ?
Thanks

Fresh water at all times and a prolonged QT time. Past that I can't help much.
Can't wait to see how this little one colors up, I love em as Juveniles, so beautiful.
