Just curious if there is such a thing as a dwarf line of BRB and if there is just how "dwarf" they are?

(And for those who might be puzzled as to why anyone would want such a thing, I was just musing that there would likely be those folks who would love the brb "look" but find that the standard gets too big for what they either want or can house.)

No dwarf brazillians from what I know BUT there are smaller rainbow boas that are just as cool.

I personally dig the columbians.

I'm a breeder, and am not aware of any existing dwarf Brazilian projects. As the snakes tend to top out at six feet (females), there is really not much of a market for the project.

Now some breeders may have adults that may be a bit smaller than normal and thus (potentially) produce smaller offspring...but that would be a one-off, line-driven project, as distinct from a proven "dwarf" project.

Some litters produce runts that dont grow as big as the rest of their siblings, I am not sure if that qualifies as dwarf or if its an inheritable trait.

Thanks folks. I was curious. For some reason I was thinking brbs got a fair bit bigger than that.

They can. I've seen 7 - 8.5 footer females. Only a handful of the adults I've ever seen though.

I have a 7.5 foot female and a 7 ft male....the last time I measured them was 2 years ago...they are both 8 years old, I also have a 4 year old female that is only 2 and a half feet long, compared to her siblings she is tiny.
