Introducing Rizzoli, my first ball python. She is a 2012 baby and 50% het albino.

Quick question: When you suggest feeding her for the first? The breeder said she ate a rat pup last Tuesday. Should I offer on Tuesday or wait until she settles in more?

id wait another week. i just got mine on tursday and tried to throw a small frozen mouce in there and she wanted nothing to do with it. on the other hand my friend got a ball on last sunday and feed it last wed and yesterday no problem

Beautiful baby! That is one great camera you have there. The detail is stunning.

As far as feeding, I know when I had a ball she was awfully shy, especially when she first moved in. I'd have some rat pups on hand and then if you plan on feeding every 7 days, offer her something Tuesday and see if she takes it. If you feel she is exceptionally shy about being in a new place, then wait a few days. It's all up to her. :)

She is named after the character Jane Rizzoli in the TV show Rizzoli & Isles. One of my favorite TV shows.
I have five Kenyan Sand Boas, a Honduran Milksnake and a Garter Snake. I also have a bunch of geckos.
