Most wild Carpets seem to look a lot thinner than their CB counterparts.

Anyway this is a nice looking jungle. Nicer looking than many CB ones, too...

great looking jungle! Nice to see what they look like in the wild when compared to the brilliant yellows and blacks you see people breeding for in their collections.

Thanks guys... glad you guys like the pics.

This is the first jungle i have seen in the wild (hopefully not the last). I was also hoping to find the typical looking jungles along the Black mountain corridor but unfortunately this is the only I found.

It will be a while before I'm back to JCP territory again.

speak for yourself mate ;)

i keep my Carpets LEAN and MUSCULAR

i feel it does their health a lot of good, also it keeps them in good shape,if you feed according to season, for instance.....

i only feed 3 maybe 4 prey items, for the duration of the winter...

that said,i give extra feeds to,any males or females,i plan to breed that year

that's cool, i would love to see one in the wild. sweet!
I gauge my girl, she had a growth spurt and looked skinny. Mama can't have no skinny babies, so she's happily digesting her rat, now lol

oh, but i was going to say that at first i thought this snake looked a little thin, but carpets are actually very lean snakes anyway, so i think it looks good. they would look weird fat!

No worries mate... just wish I had more to show, maybe next time I'll have more luck.

The pics do make it look a tad lean but it is no more than a couple of years old (by my estimate) and only about 3 1/2 foot long.

Very clean patterns though (typical "wild" Atherton tablelands looking JCP - though brighter than Athertons in captivity to be honest)... I actually would love to add a jungle with that look to the collection even if it's just the one.

Very nice. It would be great to be able to go out for a walk and see some herps but not that easy in England and I think I am to far north for the couple of species we do have anyway.
