Allie is finally eating from tongs! The last feeding she took from the tongs with no issues. I made her wait a bit again before feeding so maybe the extended time between feedings gave her a better feed mode? Either way, I'm happy and will be putting her back on her normal feeding schedule. Hopefully she'll continue to eat this way.

Also, I managed to get a really good measurement on these girls tonight and I'm impressed! My eyeballing them and using myself and the boyfriend to estimate their growth was not quite accurate but close. I measured Allie to be 90" (7 1/2') and she wasn't completely straight. Baby Girl measured in at 98" (8'1"). Both girls are 16 months old now. I guess these are within normal range for these girls?

Now to get their weights! :D

Also, now that both are on 2 jumbos a feeding, I had been feeding every 2 weeks and it seemed to satisfy them. I noticed the last couple of feedings they've been more active sooner than normal. I'm not sure if I should up their food to 3x jumbos every two weeks and see what that does or should I feed 2x jumbos every week? I'm still having no luck with finding feeder rabbits.

And I guess at the size they are now, the Christmas totes are going too small and will they be ok for them for the next 2 to 3 months while I work on getting them some permanent enclosures made? The tubs they're in now are way too small. I'd like to give them something a bit more comfortable while I work on getting some enclosures built. I would have already had them built this summer if all this other personal crap wouldn't have happened. :(

Who knows if 2 to 3 months will be big enough for them. Snakes can grow at different rates as your measurements have proven. Use your best judgement is my suggestion.

For feeding, keep looking for rabbits. I would go with 2xjumbos every 10 days. It's not quite a week or two weeks. It should be enough to satisfy them.
