They do tend to be more active at night, but they still are active sometimes during the day, and I definitely don't find mine boring. :D

I too would have to disagree. They are more active in the early evening/dusk and night -- but then most geckos are. But mine was often out and about. She was very inquisitive.

I don't think they are boring at all. Pluto hides most of the time, but if she can hear me around her cage shell come out. And if I open her cage, she comes running like a puppy wanting to come out.
