i just wanted to let folk know how good a customer service Microclimate has.....

i wrote an e mail to the company late last night,telling them about some thermostat failures i had...

this morning an e mail was waiting for me,saying..

send the stats back with a £5 note for the return carriage.and..

we will fix the stats and send them back to you..

no questions,no arguement..

just send them to us,and we will send you them back 100% fixed

thank you microclimate

i'm happy happy happy Chuck.....

instead of buying replacements,i get the old ones i bought back in 2008 fixed for free:D

there are very intruged as to why 5 (4 x B2 & 1 x B1) stats failed over a 12 month period Rob

they said the average 1 or 2 failed stats per month,out of thousands sold,,

they said they thought it was a part called a triac that failed,causing the stats to fail in the off setting,imo i think they are designed to fail in an off position,to stop you cooking snakes

Certainly better for them to fail "off" than on!! Lets hope they find a common fault which helps them build more robust units in future :)
