We have lived les than two miles from this station for 12 years and its first time w have actually been on the train :eek::rolleyes:

We have a train station about a mile down the hill from us. I hope to someday take my son on it. In the summer they do a few "fun" rides with old antique open cars. I really should make a point to do that this summer. I hope she enjoyed it Rob. :)
Looks like fun Rob. Going to be taking my kids for a ride on a steam train next year hopefully on the severn valley railway. We occasionally have one come through Stockport and the noises, smoke and smells it makes are something else.
