Hello everyone,

Looks like another Ball Python is added to the collection! After much patience with trying to find the perfect male we finally found one - and at a good price too.

Here is our new 2012 Lesser Male. He is absolutely gorgeous and very active/curious. I love the blushing that he has and how golden and orange he is in person. Hopefully when its a nicer day I will post more pics to get a better idea for his colouration. Anyways, here he is:

I actually got him from a person online. He was selling him cheap.

He apparently was so afraid of it that he couldn't sleep...I guess he got it from a breeder for free and decided to sell it because of that haha. Win-win for both of us I guess.

So far he has been really active and very friendly, he previous owner didn't even handle him! So he is at a better home now :)

He's awesome... I've been thinking about all the different snakes that I could mabye get as my second but I have decided that I'm just going to stick with getting a ball python because I already have my hyper corn snake it's time to get a nice calm snake. I have been thinking about getting a carpet python lots too but in the end I think that they need a little to big of a cage than what I can supply

Interesting, I thought maybe you had gotten him from my neighboring vendor at the show, almost looked like one of his!!

Thank-you! :) Honestly I love Ball Pythons. They are so much more relaxed than Corn snakes, as I have had a corn snake as well and they just don't like to sit still. Ball pythons are still active (some more than others) but will still curl up in your hoodie pocket and sleep :) Plus the amount of morphs is astonishing!

Haha I know, there were quite a few Lesser males for sale but we really wanted a Female Lesser so we didn't end up getting anything. Then this guy popped up for under $100 so I guess it was meant to be? We shall see though, he was fed live before so hopefully I can switch him without a problem.

My first BP was a Spider. He is my calmest and most desensitized to everything, I'd let anyone handle him. Pastels are beautiful too...I have a female that I plan on breeding to my Spider down the road and make some bumblebees :D

Ya, I brought home a beautiful 4 yr old male pastel who was also fed live, so we'll both be fighting the same battle now!!

Oh nice, I love pastels. Yeah hopefully it shouldn't be too much of a battle. I guess it may be a bit easier that mine is younger, but you never know! :)

Alright, so a nice update today!

First we decided to name him Watson :)
And today was his first feeding day with us and he took a f/t rat with no problem! His previous owner fed him live so it is a great relief that he ate it with no problems.

Yay for a great find :)
