My new vivs

Hi this is my new set up in my garage I have 1" insulation around it. It is a 6ft at the bottom for my boa and will be 2x 3ft viva at top for my royals, just wondered if I used ceramic tiles on the bases of the vivs would it work or will it be to cold

If you are using a heat lamp or radiant heat panel the heat would warm up the tile like the sun warm up rocks. It should work no problem. What you could do is get it all set up lay the tile on the bottom but don't glue it down. Let the heat lamp or panel run for a couple days and check the temps with a temp gun and see what the temp of the tile is. If it to cold then you can just remove it.

Ok cheers. It is fully insulated now with double glazed glass doors so it should keep the heat in, just the air vents on the front for plenty of ventilation.
