BRB temp choices

I currently have a range of temps in my BRBS cages to test what they use the most. Well seems when after eating a meal they go to the 85 degree area and when not digesting they are always in ranges of 80-82.What do anyone else keep temp ranges at and what do you see going on with them using them.

Mine spends 85% of it time on the cool side which is 74 degrees.

This... Except I never see mine on his warm side unless he's temporarily hiding from me lol

Like Chuck, my BRB spends a majority of his time on the cool side of his enclosure, which is at 73 degrees. He will even eat his meal in his hide that is on the cool side, and remain in that hide while digesting his meal.

What high temps do anyone provide. From the above i see 73-74 cool but what choices and temps do most give them and what results do you see.Mine go back and forth from 78-84 areas.

im wondering is if you were to bump up the cool side temps for a short time just to see whats they action from this change.

Brb's generally don't like it over 85 ish... I keep my hot end at 85 and my cold end about 72-75...

My high temps are between 82-84 degrees. As i said before my cool end is 72-73, and my male spends about 80 percent of his time in his hide that's on the cool end. He will spend some time in his hide on the warm side, but even after eating, he will spend most of his time on the side that's 73 degrees.

My vivs generally range from a low of 72-74ish (ambient room temp, which varies by season) to a high of 82F (themostat controlled). My snakes seem to key off their furniture more than any temp, preferring to sleep, eat, and rest in their moist hides during the day. Just after feeding, they will often curl up in their water bowls for a night or two. In the evenings they range all around....

I see mine on both sides. Hot spot is 84 and cool side is room temp, generally 78-80. After feeding they go back to wherever they were before eating.

My 7 month old hangs out in his warm-side moist hide after eating (kept at 82 degrees via thermostat), then 90% of the time on the cool side (72-74 degrees) buried in his substrate.

Im seeing the same thing back and forth cool to hot side also, but its not enough repeated reports to state something for me to say they like this or that so im still testing..

Actually, frequent back-and-forth is an excellent sign -- probably the best you can get. It means neither side is so uncomfortable that he avoids it. Well done!

Thanks but still tweaking it to see whats the limit that they avoid i have knowledge what accepted to some degree but what to know more..
