Hey Hey! :)

I just finished my leopardgecko enclosure and wanted to show you the result.
(well it's not 100% complete,you have to add a cave,a drinking bowl and of course some sand to your mind)

The size is about 47"x19"x19"


It's not perfekt,it has some flaws :/ But for my 1st real try with polystyrene and tile cement, I'm kinda happy with the result :)

Sehr gut! If your "creative juices" are still flowing, I'd recommend some old, dilapidated buildings in the middle ... perhaps even a corral (basically picturing a ghost town). If your leo is like mine was, s/he will climb all over and through it.

That's an awesome idea,never thought about something like that.:)

How big is it? There's such a thing as too big. And if you're going to use sand, make sure it's regular sand, not calcium sand.

Also, if you're going to house leos together, they must be the same size or the smaller one(s) will get bullied and won't get to eat. Look out for these signs of aggression: What are the aggression/dominance signs of leopard geckos? If you'll be housing males and females together (which I wouldn't personaly recommend as there's really no need to produce more leos, and some breeders say this can be stressful and dangerous for the geckos), make sure they're adults first or you'll end up with a female pregnant too young, which is very bad for their health.

Thirdly, just so we're clear on what this setup needs (it's very nice btw), you'll need more than one cave. If you're going to be housing three geckos, there needs to be several caves. You'll also need a few humid hides for shedding purposes.Leos are not social creatures, so you don't want them all in the same place. And you should probably replace the analog thermometers with digital ones, as analogs are known to be inaccurate.

I'm not sure how much you know about leos, which is why I want to make sure you know all of these things. It is a very nice setup though. I'm sure they'll like it.

I'm not getting leos that soon anyway,first of all I'm gonna get my ballpython.

I just wanted to establish a desert viv like this so bad :D
