AP Sterilite 1996/6 Snake Rack

This new rack is due in a week from now so yeah, I am waiting with "baited breath". It comes with 6 shelves, flexwatt dual sided radiant heat and will be much bigger than the racks I have now. It is made around the Sterilite 1996 tubs with the dimensions as follows: 44" L x 19 3/4" W x 6 3/8" H. This translates into a 74 qt. capacity which will make some of my bigger snakes much more comfortable. I will be posting more about this when it comes and keep you guys up to dayte as to which snakes went where but for now, it's a waiting game.

Assuming this happens, this weekend will be very busy moving snakes around. Plus there's the Iowa reptile show this Sunday. I'm hoping to be all done with moving snakes before this show. Ill be sure to post pics so you can see just what this rack looks like. Until then, here's to anticipation.

Sorry I didn't see this until just now. To answer your question, I will put the Macklot's in the top 3 tubs since they are much more aggressive eaters. This will prime the others when it's their turn. In order from top to bottom, it will be GI Jane, Vanessa, Merlin, Popeye, Arwen and Big Mama

Today is the day to go pick up this rack. I just talked to Ali on the phone and she says it's ready now. All I need to do is get off work and head up to Johnston. Life is good.

Affter work yesterday, I went with Rmfsnakes to Animal Plastics and picked up the rack. Then we went to Target to get the tubs.

Once home, we got this rack set up and hooked up my Herpstat I got from Omaha last month. It works great and today I plan on putting my bigger snakes in this rack and moving my other snakes in the other racks as well as cleaning since today is cleaning day; all this at the same time as moving everybody into a bigger room and making it more comfortable for for me and for them.
