Pearl Line ?

Can any breeders working with these tell me more about them. I have a pair i got which are het hypo from pearl line. What is pearl and how is it produced or passed onto offspring as ?

Varanus, "pearl" is one of the popular sale labels for a certain side pattern on Brazilian Rainbows. Instead of the normal orange cresent on a circle of black dotting their sides, these animals have large orange circles with small black borders. The genetics are not perfectly understood. It seems to be line-bred and involve multiple genes, so pearl parents are more likely (but not certain) to produce a higher percentage of pearl offspring.
