Is trying to retrieve the food...It's just that one rat he won't eat, too. It's not too big, but it is def pregnant. *shrug*. He ate the other one I put in there...I accidentally dropped it on him (slipped out of my tongs...he likes the zombie dance), and when I came back, he started snapping everywhere, striking at the cage until he finally accidentally bit the new rat's head...and then just started swallowing...weirdest feeding session EVER.

Had it happen. Once my burm grabbed the rat's hindquarters, and in the process of trying to find its head, lost it and wound up sitting on top of it, looking at me for food..

My ball does this almost every feeding... Crazy overexcited for food. cant find its head and looks at me while wrapped around her rat. silly girl. she usually finds it if i leave her alone. I even heat the head up hot to help her...

oh this was left in overnight. and then the next day, cause he was still in feed mode, but wouldn't touch that rat. It's ok though, it's out now and in the garbage. Stunk to high heaven though >.<

Snake hook in one hand, tongs in the other.

Done that before, but I don't work with giants so I'm not sure if it applies...

Wow. I must be lucky I have never had Percy strike or anything after eating. She will stare me down a bit and then go to her favorite spot lol

Lol, Pajamas has been super weird lately. I think it may be the seasons changing, or all the storms we've been having. All I know...is he's crazy. And I love it xD

lol Sounds like he's losing his marbles. Just kidding, but that's pretty funny. :) I've had my boa do a similar thing; strike, coil, and look for the head. Couldn't find the head and slithered off with a coil still around the rat, and looking for another. Since he was still small, I was able to get the rat out of his coil and do the dance again, this time without any problems. From now on, though, he's on his own. lol
