I have a 5 foot dumerils boa, nagini. Usually, she just chills underneath the bedding.
Recently, after i fed her, she's started coming out and just chilling on the log or moving around trying to get out of the cage. When i handle her, shes very calm and comfortable.
I also notice her skin getting slightly pink, she might be ready to shed soon.
Should I be worried about her being more active lately?

dums are boa constrictors, but this section of the forum is just for B.C.C., B.C.I.....i guess.....they just mean you should post in the regular boa forum.

Should I be worried about her being more active lately?I'm experiencing similar increases in activity from both Black Betty and Popeye, my 2 oldest Dums. I chalked it up to the season and set it up for their weekend flings together. We'lll see what happens.

Dumeril's are Boas but they are not the Latin American varieties. They come from Madagascar along with the Madagascar Ground Boas. That's why this should be in the general Boa forum. That's all
