Iowa Reptile Show and Sale - Des Moines

There's yet another reptile show in the area and since this one is in town, I'm definitely planning on going. This event will happen on Sunday, Nov 4. Who knows what kinds of "friends" I'll get to bring home or even who I will are there. I do know it'll be lots of fun. Anyone else?

This show is happening this Sunday, Nov. 4. I do plan on being there but I don't plan on getting anything this time. This will be fun anyway as these things usually are. This will also cap off a very busy weekend for me.

geez, why cant we have so many shows???? too bad you werent closer, or I get you to look around for me!! ;)

Well, this show is only twice a year but since we are only 2 hours from Omaha, 5 hours from Tinley Park and 3 hours from Kansas City. This pretty much guarantees a show at least every other month and sometimes more often than that.

sucks!! Should have stayed in Chicago when I lived there........... but I missed home :(

Oh yeah! I forgot to mention that St. Louis, which is about 7 hours away, also has a show every other month that alternates with the Kansas City show. Between the two of them alone, you have a show every month.

Anyway I think my exwife will have a table at this Des Moines show selling her rats and mice. At least that's what I heard.

I get 2 shows/year... at which I am always vending!! So unless a fellow vendor watches my table, or a friend comes along with me, I have a hard time getting to do a walk around myself!!

When I was in the business with her, I did get a chance to check things out because there was more than one person at our table. Actually I remember last Fall, I was at the van "delivering" live rats to anyone walking up to me with a receipt. When I was inside. I would just simply walk them to the van to get their stuff.

Since they had to come to the van, I take it we're talking live rats?? LOL (they don't let us bring live ones in the building either!!)

You got that right but at least we were able to sell live rats even if it was in the parking lot.
