You know when you just have that feeling bout something...
I knew I kept her for a reason. Even as a dark little ugly duckling there was just something about her... a hunch I had.

My little ugly duckling has bloomed into a swan. I love it when a hunch pays off, she looks like a bushfire....

i don't know anything about leopard geckos but I really liked her first picture as well.. I love the dark colors. It kind of reminds me of the sky at night with stars in the back ground. She is stunning now too though!
Wow, that's a big difference! That's awesome.

LOL... Kat she's a knobtailed gecko not a leopard gecko :)

That's alright mate.. no need to be sorry :), they're not exactly a widely kept gecko on your side of the pond.

Like Kat, I love the way she looks in both stages. She's gorgeous in her darker clothes, but looks just as fantastic in her brighter ones. :)

Beautiful. The knobtail is interesting. Do they use it for predator distraction in the wild?

They used to kinda be but I guess the "high end" gecko kind of lost it's luster. Awesomely beautiful though.
Really like these pictures. It looks like two different geckos....The color change is amazing, but I like them both. I can't pick which colors look better on her.

Have to disagree with you as to her being an 'ugly duckling' as a wee bairn, Red. She was a cutie even then. Her colors now are spectacular though.

No one exactly knows what it's for mate... they puff up the whole tail like a fan and wave it around while bluffing (charging and huffing). The end part of the knob also twitches when excited by prey. Not exactly caudal luring more like a tail wag lol
