hi guys im new lol but here's a pic of my green tree python after its shed and it has some black stuff on it and i dont know what it is? the picture is side ways so it to the right hand side. ill try to get a better pic when i get home

^ I agree My GTP has gone through some odd color stages where he looks dirty.

Well it could be anything.. More than likely it is just a slight color change. How are you keeping him?

How old is the snake? If it is near colour change time then i would guess at it being the first stages. If it is much younger then i would be worried that it could be a burn, is there any way it could get near the heating element of its enclosure?

Seeing that it's orange instead of red, I'd say it's already entered color change stage.

its in a 12x12x18 exo terra got 1 60w exo terra heat lamp red at the top. its dose not go above 90 at the highest perch. and i think its about maybe 3 month old or even older don't really know.

Can you post a pic of the whole snake with something for size reference? Will give us an ideaof age then. I would say three months is quite you g for the first signs of colour change but if it could be older then it is a possibility.
I take it the bulb is guarded so that the snake couldnt have touched it?

yea there is no way for him to touch the light.
i put a better pic of mark, and of its size it just ate so yea lol
