cover the cages with blankets or towels.
it's not quite winter yet, so you should be OK.
Seaman from eons past were taught that one of the most powerful, long lasting and reliable heat sources when no fire (or in your case, electricity) was available is, in fact, the naked human body insulated with dry cotton blankets. The average human body will radiate heat at a temperature of around 87 degrees f consistently and without need to stoke any flames for long periods of time.
Just a little food for thought.

That sounds like they'll be fine then. Also, you may want to see if you can find some cheap heat packs/hand warmers and keep a few on hand.

Small personal propane heaters are cheap, and don't need power. a handy item to have as a backup.

Do not be so thick, my friend. You have learned a very valuable survival technique this night! Store this knowledge in yourself and never forget it! It may save your life one day.

Very true I did just praying this doesnt happen in the dead of winter. Im going to invest in a bunch of pillow cases so I can tuck them in with me in bed if it happens again!
