Local Botanical Gardens

[Lankyrob]

There is a huge parkland near us that we visit regularly for the play area for our daughter, each time we visit we drive past the Botanical section and say "we ought to go in there sometime" - well today we did!!

Here are some pics - the large sculpture was a tree that was struck by lightning and a local artist carved the remains :)

How cool! That tree sculpture must have taken an incredible ammount of artistic talent! Thanks for sharing Rob, I live near a "desert" botanical garden, its quite nice. Next time I go ill snap some pictures for ya and share.
