View Full Version : Florida Snake ID
So i was going out my back door to have a smoke and when i turned around to shut my door i saw a tail that belonged to some sort of reptile heading inside as most would i followed that tail and i found a beautiful young snake that i cannot identify but my guess is a rat/corn snake

Ok cool thanks. i was thinking that myself but wasnt sure. just got back from releasing the little guy down the road hope he doesnt decide to come back when the dogs are out or he might end up lunch

Definitely grey rat. The only other snake that would look close to that as a juvenile would be a yellow rat.

Yup, a grey rat snake :)
