What day where they when they started to pip? try to leave them alone for a while just open the tub to let air in.

my babies took about 2 days to come out of their eggs. and now im waiting for them to shed.

" i work it out at 42nd day"
Are you saying they pipped on day 42?
Impossible.
They are only 3/4 developed at that time.

Maths aint my strong point..... i found the Eggs on the 13-8-12 and they started pipping on the 24-9-12 ?? temp in incubator 88.2 - 88.8/9f :)

42 days. Then they were sitting with the female for at least 14-18 days before you found them. Incubating at 88.5 degrees, they likely went 56-60 days before pipping.

Sorry mate not possible, i offered her food every 7 days and misting her inbetween....i used to take her out to hold her while misting, i lift all hides to spray all of the subtrate (orchid bark) or have i miss-read it and ur saying they were insider her for 14-18 days. i'm new to breeding royls this is my 1st year

At 88.5 degrees on average, eggs (outside of the mother) will take 56-60 days to pip. Period. No ifs, ands or buts about it.
If you had them pipping at 42 days, they were with the mother for at 14 days.
If you're saying they could only have been with the mother for a maximum seven days post-lay, (putting them at 49 days) then you were incubating at over 90 degrees. Most eggs will cook at plus 90 degrees; as in dead. Done. Kaput.
Your math is WAY off Sir, you weren't kidding.

I'll take ur word for it Sir, like i sed i'm a newbie to royals. Yes i lost 2 eggs that i thought were to closed to heat source (ceramic ) the mom laid them in her hide cus i didn know she gravid, i was expectin a month erlier and when i got nuthin around the due date i thought " maybe she not then?" So i dunno, I'll hav to pay more attention nxt year :)
And thank you !!
