Yes, I took pictures of fish.

This one reminded me of an albino Fiji Iguana

Ya know, in the two years I lived in Denver, I never went to the aquarium. Now I'm sad I didn't! Great pics!

Stellar post. I would of loved to have gone. I really enjoy sea life, and on more than one occasion have started a 20-30gallon aquarium....I just hate to clean it..So I don't have them now. These pictures are captivating.

Looks awesome! Looks like a fun place! I've been to the Newport Aquarium in KY, it was pretty nice. Did it have those underwater glass tunnels you could walk through?

EDIT: Nvm, looked at pics again and saw tunnel. Duh.

My friends uncle works there. He took us behind the scenes to see how all the tanks and stuff work. I loooove the Denver Aquarium.

I should really upload my pictures that I took... Awesome aquarium. The mermaid show was weird, especially when they were swimming around as we ate lunch.

The Denver Aquarium is one reason I miss the heck out of Colorado.

That looks like a great place to visit and makes the ones over here I've been to look amateurish

I love the "flash flood simulator". Especially when kids are standing near it and they freak out when the water splashes them.

I wish I could have gone more often than what I got to go. I only went to the zoo once and the aquarium once

definitely one of the coolest parts. These pictures really don't do the place justice, the entire thing is an amazing experience.

I thought the Downtown Aquarium is just mediocre. The food is AMAZING, but other than that, it doesn't even rate in comparison to some of the aquariums I've been to. That being said, it's nice, clean, and the displays are well thought up, so it's better than a lot of others, too.

I love the one in San Francisco by the bay. On pier whatever-it-is lol. That one was pretty fantastic and I've heard the one in Monterey Bay is simply mind-boggling.

I haven't been to either. My two favorites are the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago and the Churaumi Aquarium at Ocean Expo Park in Okinawa, Japan.

Shedd is pretty amazing. I loved it there. Didn't see any aquariums while I was in Japan, but I did go to the Nagasaki memorial. Was there anything in particular you liked about Churaumi Aquarium?

I loved the information available about the animals. And the whale sharks were just mesmorising. It was clean, friendly, accomodating, and interactive.

That's why I liked it, I've been to quite a few places where the aquarium feels like an afterthought, small tanks filled with generic fish. The Denver one all the enclosures and tanks are nicely lit with good views and a variety of species from all over that you don't see in most ither aquariums.
