Awesome! Diggin' that orange throated coachwhip and horned lizard. Really like the red diamond rattler too.

Nice finds Sorraia!
I really like the California King and the Horned Lizard.
Those are two I haven't found in California yet.....

I've got a few more pictures to add too, especially the other color morph CA King. I thought I had pictures of a night snake we once caught, but might need to check a coworker for those. I should have pictures of a CA Mountain King somewhere too. I know this is a reptile forum, but guess amphibians are welcome too? I have some pictures of them too.

We don't usually catch the lizards by hand, but have special arrays set up for inventory studies of reptiles in a given area. We leave rattlesnakes alone (unless they get caught in the arrays, then we have to carefully remove them with a snake stick), but will sometimes catch the non-venomous snakes for inspection. I love my job! :)

That's awesome. I love amphibians too! And we do bugs, too! Lizards, etc. Primarily snakes, but hey, i love'em all. Seriously jealous that you love your job LOL

I know I'm a bit slow on getting those last few posted. I need to locate the zonata. I think those pictures ended up on the external hard drive. If they aren't there, I need to go searching through my email for them (not fun). The other kingsnake, I just need to get around to uploading those! :)

Great job you have. It's always nice having a job that you really enjoy, I mean you're doing something that you really enjoy and they pay you to do it! How good is that.
