so my bumble bee has had one normal poop, lots pees, and he has pooped again tonight and it was loose and a bit runny and super stinky.

he eats really well never misses a meal and eats good sized meals every 7 days. i feed him every sunday and hits it every time. i'v seen him drink. he nice and chunky and growing good. he looks very very healthy.

now i have researched and it says runny poops could be parasites, but he's had one normal poop. anyways nto ruling parasites out i'm gonna wait for his next poop to see what thats like if runny i'll go from there.

my question is what else can cause runny poop. i have recently this week started handleing him daily(i gave him about a month of settleing in only handling him when i cleaned his tub) he did have a warm soak couple days ago when i cleaned his tank because of pees, he really did not like the soak.
after his soak he went into his new tub (he was in quarantine one before).
i'm thinking i'v proably just stressed him out too much in one day and bad me. but i wanted your folks opinion.

now i know you'll ask so

plastic tote 2 hides hot and cold 2 water bowls humidity between 60 and 70 at all times hot side goes between 88 and 90 i use a thermostate set to 90.. cold side 75 to 80. ( he is in a larger tote that a much bigger snake could live in but he does have the 2 hides and i have greenery drapped over and the 2 water dishes so he is really closed in compared to tote size if that makes sense)

Is there any reason why you gave him a soak? Apart from once when i had a stuck shed i have never bathed any of my snakes......

Your snake won't always poop the same just like you won't always poop the same... It happens no reason to worry.

ok well his first meal was a really small pinkie too small for him his next meal was a large rat pup than his next meal was a mouse because the pet store had nothing else appropriate for him his last meal i gave him last night(mouse was really relly small compared to his rat pup so i fed him a couple days early cause he was acting really hungry) well his last meal was a african soft fur rat which was the largest meal he took for me so his next meal wont be till next sunday again. so he has had a pinkie andd a large rat pup so thats proably why the runny poop.
his last couple meals werent pinkies or pups so i'll wait for his next couple poops to see.

thank you all.

also im worried about the rat he ate last night. at pet store it looked only a little bigger than rat pup i had given him, but once i dropped in his tub i thought holy crap your not gonna be able to get that down. well as soon as i thought that pete had it in the death grip. anyways took him about 30 minutes to figure it out and start trying to eat it another 30 minutes later it was gone. anyways his belly is huge like im talking huge, if he got it down do i need to worry?

oh i gave him a soak cause he stunk like pee. he peed and because i use papertowl it spread to where he slept so when i picked him up to clean tank he stunk so i just put him in for about 5 mins than wiped him off.

i'm not being cheeky but you need to chill out and not worry so much mate

my carpet pythons eat prey 3,4,5, times larger than the girth of the snake

you would be surprized how large a prey item a snake can take with ease

i do NOT handle my snakes for 3 days after they eat, this gives time for digestion to take place

handling a snake too soon after a meal can cause regurgitate its meal

try and relax and enjoy your snake mate:)
