Ive had my 2 guys actually one is male and one female i think cuz only one (cermet) croacks all the time. And the other (mountain dew) actually used to be much smaller then cermet then shot up out of nowhere and is a ferosious eater....there actually botrh about 2 1/4 inches now and 25 grams....what is full grow? also hows my enclosure look? I was interested in breeding them next year if they are male and female there both only about 9 months old now i would guess. Their in a twenty gallon tank with a heat lamp on a timer 14 hours a day brings hot spot of high 80-'s and a low 80 ambient and at night its in mid to low 70's so all that sems to be perfect. I feed them ever other day and once every week or so they get a pinkie each otheriwse its large crickets...feedback is appreciated:) thanks

I'd cut down on pinkies every week. They can lead to obesity and aren't healthy in large amounts like that. Stick to the crickets, mealworms/superworms for the most part. Dust with vitamin/calci powder once a week. What's you're humidity at? Keep it high around 80percent worked best for me when I had one of these guys. Also I'm not sure if it's a necessity, but use UV lighting. You'll see a ridiculous change in your frogs colour, believe me. I know some are just browner by nature but the uvb/uva really makes them more vibrant in my opinion. All in all super cool looking guy you've got there, makes me really want to get back into them! Dumpys were my second herp ever!!

very cool but as stated the mice can lead to an obese frog i feed mine pinkies every now and then but not very often. and i would also suggest uvb it brings out the color in them and looking at yours you have Australians which are very beautiful. as for humidity i keep mine at 70%. and i would also suggest you switch to eco earth and plant pothos in it they will love it and it looks much better other then that you got some nice and healthy frogs:)

Thanks guys I'm gonna get the uv light.a.lso this time next year I wanted to try cycling. My ambients are in high 70s with basking of a85 to 90 day and at night over all 75. So I was thinking over course of a month get the temps down to room temp as well as drop the lighting to only 10 hours a day all starting around next November they will b over 2 years old. Also stop feedin at this time and always lead fish water. The if I'm right I cover the cage and move them into a cool room in the 60s and check on them and the water everyday. After 6 weeks bring them back upstairs getting room temPs ack to or,al for like a week. Ten put light ack to normal and maybe start offering food heavily. So after all back FTP normal you move them into the special little 20 Allen rain chamber I'll make havin a shower head aim on the for a about 2 ours on and 2 hours off everything. Ten I should hear cracking and they should do there thing. How does all his sound to the more successful frog ppl here? I do have a male Nd female

your best odds on getting them to breed is having more males then females sometimes males dont fertilize the eggs so having more males will help with that.
