Hello everyone, my name is Danny. I am re-entering the the herping world after a long hiatus where I struggled through daughter husbandry.

I keep 1.1 bearded dragons that are a couple of years old and I recently acquired a JV water monitor , less than 1 yr.

Thanks!

Well yeah, but I said beardies too! I do have a soft spot for monitors. My first lizard was a Varanus salvator (mid/late 80's yeah, great choice for a young inexperienced keeper) ANDthat was sooo cool that I rushed right out and bought a Varanus niloticus that kept trying to eat me over the next couple of years. I am more informed now and always trying to learn more, that's why I joined you guys!

No, I am in G'Town. We are going to make a move south around Byhalia but we are still a couple years away from that.

I going to build a house on some land there near my folks. It's not far from where I am now really, 25-30 mins. One of the reasons I bought an animal with such large habitat requirements is because I will have the room to give. We want to add a couple of Sulcata tortoises and I want to keep Black, Emerald and Blue tree monitors.
