A co-worker found this little hatchling common snapper in our plant this morning. I think I may keep him over the winter and release him next spring...give him a little "jump-start' on life.

thats a cool wee guy you have there mate

i take it even at that size,they can deliver a nasty bite ?

i love how these guys look as adults

He hasn't been too active, he was dry as a bone when they found him. He's been moving around a little more since I brought him inside and got him wet.

But I still haven't put my finger in front of him either!
