Thanks, but there is still soooo much work to do. I am letting Kim handle the budget....I don't want to know "how much is spent" untill the end of the project.

love it. all that hard work will pay off ten fold. just out of curiousity, what live plants/trees/etc? are you going for the whole self-sustaining eco-system (with some intervention of course)? or more of a..well whatever you call it..the opposite idea of that...

Well, stopped at the hd, and picked up electrical supplies. Basic rough in is underway.

Scott

The only thing that will be living in my enclosure are the monitors and any lucky bug that can evade predation. Otherwise it will be overly decorated with silk plants and lots of climbing wood and a large tub for swimming.

looks sick so far. yea the live stuff just gets ruined 99% of the time unless its large and rooted deep down in the soil.

I just googled "Borat very nice" and that popped up.

Then my son comes over and says "that looks like you"

I wanted to swat the boy.

To put this project in prospective, I put 45 hours in last week at my job. I figured 16-18 hour this weekend on the vive. My blood alcohol level is at a critical low point. And only I have to back to work tomorrow. This thing is cutting into my beer drinking time.

Update:

The door frame is built, hinges and hasp purchased. I will insulate the last bits today. I think I forgot to mention that the entire basement is under construction. So, that being said. I need to finish sand the ceiling and prime. Paint and put the original trim back up. I also need to make the nest box and run bottom heat to it.

Pic later
