Got a quick shed this time, of coarse I can't resist the urge to take some pics, her next shed she should be about a year old. Gonna put together a progression thread then. Until then I hope you like the pics and thanks for looking.

Oh, my! She almost makes ya dizzy, doesn't she? Niiiiiice!
Colubrids are where my knowledge is...
Is this a Jungle Carpet Python? And if not what is it. Regardless I love the color, and Tango is right it does make you a little bit dizzy. My female Milk just shed, and the male is in blue now. They always look so vibrant fresh from shed. How long does this snake get, girth? I really like it!

She's a diamond jungle jaguar, I don't have alot of info on her beyond that, the seller who didn't breed her told me she was bred from a diamond jungle male to a coastal female, I'm guessing the female was the jaguar. She is really unique compared to other djj's or other carpets for that matter. I suspect the breeder nor the seller had any idea how she would turn out since when I got her when she looked nearly like she was just out of the egg and no where near how she looks now, ill post pics of her when i got her on her next shed. I'm guessing her length will reach 8-9 feet, adult carpets don't get very thick compared to most other similar length snakes but females do get pretty thick when preparing them for breeding.
Well I really like the looks of this snake, GTP, BRB and your snake make me really want to look in to some larger snakes. (Larger than what I normally keep anyway.) Thanks for sharing! This made my day.

Thanks man. I got a pack of 6500k socket flouresnt daylight bulbs, I used my domes I had, I used four on four sides and one directly above to avoid shadows and bright spots. They really bring out her colors, looks like she's under full sun.

So that's indoors?
Did you take that shot at night?
Xea is a smokin' carpet by the way. http://www.lilwaynehq.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbs.gif

Yeah that's indoors, it was taken during the day but no sunlight was hitting her. I picked up the area rug I got her on when I got the lights, I choose the green color since that seems to adjust the white balance of the camera really well. I got the idea when I took some full sunlight pics of her in the grass in the past, now that it's gonna be getting cold soon I wanted to simulate outside pics. Next time I do the setup on her next shed I'm gonna get a vid of her too. She really is something special, I can't wait to see how much she changes this time next year.
