So I've been wondering why my baby retic hasn't been so active. It turns out that the uth is not even working! How can I remove it so that I can put a new one on?

Ahh screw it. You need to find a group of midget wrestlers to come over and tear it off with their teeth. Lol
Just kidding. Grab a corner and peel it off BUT don't bend it past 45 degrees or you may damage it. Use foil tape when putting it on anothe viv.
:) :)

If it is not working then he doesn't need to worry about damaging it..

Haha I love your answers but this one is like industrial strength. I'm pretty strong and I had my friend pull while I held onto the tank and it was NOT budging. It's on their with like super industrial strength sticky crap

No no no, you have it all wrong, don't ask a friend, ask Mom.
You remember back in the day when plasters were pulled firm and fast, she has the technique.... :p

Seriously though, you may need to use an adhesive solvent of some sort. Assuming this is on a glass tank? Benzine, turpentine, mom's nail polish remover, best to check a hardware store.

I would however dice it up, creating smaller squares to work with.
Remember to unplug from socket.

Use a heat gun to soften the glue and peel it off using vice grips clamped on it.

Lol! Make sure all the light switches are turned ON as well... Sometimes the outlets are powerd by them without any markings or they are upside down, if it's upside down, one of the switches in the room turn it on.

Let it soak under warm water for a while, or use a razor blade to cut it off.

Haha I love how you all make the same smart*** comments I make! Thank you. Looks like I have to buy some solvent cuz as we were yanking it, I heard something crack in the tank so that's why we stopped.

The outlet it was plugged in definitely was working and it's not controlled by a switch. I think the uth was damaged from before when I tried to yank it off like a year ago before
