so i have had pete for about 2 weeks now. about 5 days after i got him i offered him a f/t weened mouse (live smallest mice is what breeder was feeding him) he didnt take it. so i waited a couple days went to pet store and asked for a pinkie mouse live. it was really too small for him but he took it. todaye was his next feeding day. i went to pet store to get a weened mouse or smallest mouse they had than thought for hell of it im gonna try a rat pup. so i brought home a rat pup (rats is what i want him on anyways). i honestly didnt think he'd take it because he's only had mice and he's still really new to us. he latched onto that live rat pup so fast it made me jump. im soo proud of him lol and very relieved he has no problems with rats. he's a pics i snapped right after he scared the gebbers outta me lol. he's got a nice big bulge now. after i took this pics i just let him be though i really wanted to watch him eat it i figured i'd have plenty more chances for that once he's a little more settled and we get some more schedualled eatings of rats.

oh and i did not notice the poop over by the probe until after i put the pup in, or i would of cleaned his tub first. now i'll wait about 3 days to clean it. i feel right bad :(

Are you having any problems with humidity whilst using that carpet?

no im not actually i was thinking i would, but none yet. now if i have his lid off than the humidity does go down but i just light mist snake back in lid closed and he's good again. if i take him out and remember to put lid right back on than no issues and i check it about 4 to 5 times daily during my reptile rounds of misting and such for my other pets.
