AXANTHIC Female:

These Two are the results of a Wild Caught Green Valley, Arizona pair of getula. One parent was an MBK phenotype and the other was a Desert King phenotype. Many believe that MBKs are melanistic desert kings.

We should see some of the first Snow Desert Kings next year and if we are really lucky we will see a Ghost.

We are also hoping that the Green Valley getula pair will produce some interesting offspring.....Maybe some MBKs. There is also a possibility they will throw an offspring with a California King phenotype.....The area they are from is a convergence of California Kings, Desert Kings and MBKs.......

I really like the hypo and axanthic morphs. I have a feeling the genetics on that striped morph are not going to fit any of the common categories like recessive, co dom and dominant.

Clearly a form of discrimination. ;) I like the desert kings, probably because they remind me of my yumensis phase California king.
