I was googling these oddities and was interested in what traits are carried on in the offspring. I'm not saying I approve of hybridizing reptiles, but you have to admit, they look kinda cool. I do worry about gene pool pollution though.

Nevertheless, these are some very pretty pictures, and I thought other people would enjoy seeing them as well.

Here are some pics I found in my travels across the vastness of Google.

i have no moral/ethical issues with people producing hybrids.....

some of the best looking snakes i've seen have been hybrids

as long as people label them correctly when selling them, then imo all is good

the first capondro pictured is a stunning looking snake, especially the colours and eyes

i need to get me a top class Male GTP

cheers shaun

oh, that ball and retic is cute... Although I'm not sure how they would breed the two together without losing the ball! Unless artificial insemination O.o

Also, the following are not hybrids, but snakes afflicted with a strange genetic disorder that causes them to be born without scales!

I've heard of snakes not having scales. Sound pretty neat to me, I'm pretty sure there are a few corn snake breeders that are starting to breed corns without scales.

I sure hope the "scaleless" snake doesn't become a trend! U G L Y!!! IMO

it's like the sphinx cats with no fur... It's just what is underneath. :) In a way it's beautiful, but it's not natural and you would have to be careful with the snake I'd imagine.

Here's a question about the scale-less buggers, do they have to shed?? lol
