I thought it was adorable! He was a very new addition, and I was showing him to my partner. He was looking at my arm, and giving it a couple of quick tongue flicks. As soon as I said "Oh look! I'm gonna get chewed on!", he slowly opened his mouth and started nomming. The next words out of my mouth? "GET THE CAMERA!"

I'm glad you're getting a laugh from my anguish! :laugh:

Some forums have a "rep" button that's similar to a Facebook like, but you can add a private little message to it that only the person you're "repping" will be able to see. I absolutely love that feature.

I flip out at my snakes doing the littlest things, I wish I had friends who were as nutty as I am! I've got two friends with corns but they're teenage boys and only one of them is totally infatuated with his like I am with my BP's!

When I move into my dorm i'm gonna drive my roomies nuts... I hope at least one of them will understand my plight, haha

I wish you could have heard the string of curses that flew from my mouth when my BP got me one day! She was about 1400g, and she was in feeding mode. I pulled open the drawer and she FLEW out, grabbed my pinky finger, and tried to drag it back into her tub, but couldn't. It hurt for about 0.00000000025 seconds, but DANG! I think I invented a few new words that day. Lol (There's pictures of that floating around somewhere, too...)

Haha! It seemed more like "Hey! This smells good! *NOM*... wait... I can't get that in my mouth... maybe over... HERE*NOM*... Nope... Oooh! These things look interesting! Maybe them! *NOM*". He stayed like this on my hand for about 2 minutes before he finally just let go and gave up. :laugh:

I actually use the Photobucket mobile app for if I'm doing anything from my phone. :)

I had a BP go a YEAR without eating (and didn't lose weight!) before he started back up. Drove me BONKERS. My boa, though, is exactly the opposite. She KNOWS when it's feeding day. If I don't feed her first, she starts whacking her face against the glass trying to get to me. I usually feed her two medium rats so she can have one at the start, and one when I'm halfway through so she doesn't injure herself.

I know BP's can go a long time without food but it's just really frustrating. Before 2 months ago she never refused a feeding, not a once. I keep an eye on her and make sure ribs don't start poking out but i'm not panicking thinking she's going to die. Just makes me uncomfortable since shes never been a fussy eater.

Romeo was a fussy eater with her past owner... But she's gotten over it with me once she realized that I feed her every couple of weeks rather than every 4 - 7 weeks...Yeah, I had a bit of an issue with her trying to bite the lid of her tank when I was prepping to feed her. She saw my hand and was trying to strike it.

She's voracious... Once she struck at a f/t rat THREE TIMES until she realized that she could eat it. First time I moved it and immediate strike and bind... I barely got the tongs out in time and she released quickly and saw me and went to bite at me through her feeding tub. Made the rat nom-nom dance again and this time I froze after releasing the rat. No-go, I had to nom-nom dance once more and then hopped out of sight before she released and then she spent a half hour finding the head and patrolling it to make sure no one was gonna steal it :wacky:

While I'm proud that my snakes are mild mannered enough that they've never bit me, I want it to happen to say I've been bit and that i'm not a sissy, haha. Seeing how my brother reacted (rather, didn't react) to his corn snake biting him, I feel like it's no big deal but there's still nothing like having it happen, lol.

We named our king Nom Nom because she likes to nom on the boyfriend's fingers every once in a while. She only bites him when he's tried to put her back in her enclosure. lol
