Tiny is Poseidon's clutchmate brother. Tiny is ready to move but I may have to wait a couple more weeks for Poseidon. He still needs to eat yet.

Just feed him. It's a burm. They are pretty good at growing out of the "feed me all the time" stage.

Thanks guys he is so funny he follows me around his enclosure and when I get close to it he likes to hiss a little! Hopefully doesnt take to long for him to outgrow that phase!

He stays in his hide mostly so I will not bug him untill I get a few feeds in him so the pic that was posted on page 1 is it for now I will keep everyone updated

After he gets settled in and gets a couple of consecutive feedings behind him, start working with him. You don't necessarily had to hold him either. I can tell you what I did with most of my animals. I don't know how much it helped, if any, but all of mine are very well mannered during handling.

The one thing I did was put a shirt in their enclosure that I may have been lounging around the house in. Something that doesn't reek of work or body odor lol. I use that to get them to identify my scent with being something they know, perhaps even safe. I also took them out and put them on my bed...again...has my scent...and put a light blanket or pillow beside them. Most times they'd crawl into the pillow or under the blanket to 'hide'. Sometimes I'd put a heating pad on low under the covers so it just barely gave off heat between all the sheets and blankets. That would give them a warm spot and they seem to really like that. And sometimes I'd take the hide they had in their enclosures and put it on the blanket.

Most of my work with mine was done like this as soon as I got them until they started getting too active or too big for the pillow. Always under my watchful eye and I could give them some sort of outing and let them identify me as something safe, yet having less contact from me. I cannot say if it worked, but if you could see and handle my animals, you'd think my method worked lol.

Good luck and have fun with him! Take a lot of pictures of him during his first year. Comparing pics of growth is astounding to look at. You can almost see growth between each feed and shed. They are amazing animals :)

I wouldn't worry to much about the hissing 3 of ours are like that all the time and never outgrew this

The one at our local pet store just blows a lot of smoke. He's fine once you start handling him (this is the hatchling, not the big girl in the mixed animal enclosure)

He is tiny thats why I chose him! He was the smallest of his clutchmates in my experiance the runt of the litter usually ends up being the biggest lol! Exwizard suggested the name Tiny so it stuck!

Well Tiny is getting a little more used to me he pooped in his water so I put the glove on a reached in to get the bowl out and he slithered up to me and flicked his tounge then hissed a little but didnt try to strike, same thing when I put the fresh water back in! I of course did not hold him even though I really want to! ;)
