I thought I would share this idea with all of you. I'm a little late building it but he is so calm there has really been no need for one.
Just a dowel screwed into a clear container with air holes around the top.

Good Idea,
Now that I now that it's that easy maybe I will get one an Aborial< correct?

How are you heating it though?

If you don't mind my asking, where did you get that container from? I'm going to be setting up my GTP in a rubbermaid type setup for the first little while after I get him, until he's big enough for a more "display" type cage, and that container looks like a great size :) Good visibility too!

Rubbermaids are great to keep a good level of humidity and looks not bad either ;)
I use this for my ATBs too now ;)

asphyxia: It's not heated. No need my room is warm enough for him at all times although he does have a basking light on his permanent enclosure. This one is just a place to put him while I'm cleaning his tank, he's never in it for long anyway.

Clownfishie: I don't remember the brand name but it came from Zellers. It was a set of 12 or so in all for $11. This was the biggest one with two smaller ones in it and then a bunch of smaller ones in them and so on.
It's a great size for temperaly holding an adult or raising a neonate.

Trevor,
How "tame" is your ETB and why did you choose this species over a GTB or an ATB. I am considering the purchase of an Aborial
and in the search of some keepers opintions of the formentioned.

Thanks

Well to be honest he chose me. It was one of those right place at the right time kinda deals. I was thinking about a GTP instead because I heard they were usually easier to tame down. Now I think there are just as many calm ETBs as there are GTPs. As far as looks go, I must prefer the looks of an ETB I find they much nicer. I may get a pair of ATB's some day I find some of them very beautiful.
