I made some changes to Cain's cage today, new perches, moved plants around and added an Exo-Terra Fogger. I love this thing.
Here is what the cage looked like before I turned the fogger on.

After I turned it on for about 30 seconds.

This is what it looks like when its been on for about a minute.

Wow that fogger works great. I can't even see the snake anymore in the third pic....lol
Your snake seem to enjoy it? I would like to possibly purchase a few of those myself.

They work reall well and sell for about 40 to 50 bucks I think. That is Canadian funds to all you americans out there. So USD it's probably about 50 cents. JK LOL. BUt yeah they work extremely well and you can purchase a waterfall also which has a little slot for the fogger to sit in. JUst adds more beauty to your enclosure.
Looks good! Are they noisey at all?

Only if the water is not deep enough then there is splashing noise but the unit its self, not really.
Cheers,
Trevor
That looks too cool. I'm sure our viper boa's would love that.

How long does the fogger run before you need to add more water?
What size aquarium is that
Looks great

krrc, the perch in the back is secured with shower curtain rod ends. One is permanently attached to one end and the other end is pressure fit and is adjustable. The other lengthwise perch is wedged in tight and the small perch (width) has two suction cups screwed to the ends only because I cut it too short. I had planed on wedging it in there.
Jeff: thanks man!
Weather1: I've never timed it. It would depend on how deep your water bowl is. The unit has a sensor that will turn off the device automatically when the water line drop below it. The tank is a 27g. I just got a 33g to replace it with because it is longer and higher but the same width.
Thanks guys,
Trevor

thanks for the great pics TREVOR !! ~ looking good !
I have been looking around the net and pet stores here in Texas and have found these units to avg. $30 bucks or so US. They have them crawling all over EBAY,.. and other knock off brands that also have a submersible light. Even came across one that had a series of submersible led's that allternated colors, blinking and alternating !?!?!

-- Leave the NIGHT CLUBS for the humans,.. last thing I want to see is to look over and see a mini CLUB going on in the snake cage ! :medteeths
Who knows what kind of moody ETB's would swing by and cause a ruckus ! :)

Just a thing to be careful of when using the fogger is to keep it out of reach of your reptiles because it can deliver a very powerful shock if touched, I know a guy whos water dragon was shocked to death so just be careful ...

Does the fogger help with humidity? I might have to think about buying one...
very cool! that is an awesome enclosure, and I may steal your fogger idea :P

ZoeStevens: Thanks!
ThEmAdHaTtEr: Yup.
Kyle Walkinshaw: Could his unit have been defected? I've touched mine just to check for that very thing with no shock. Also there is no warning of the unit being a shock hazard to you or your animals. That guy should contact the company and get a new dragon out of them.

wow....i didnt even know u could get them!!!!;)
The only problem with the foggers is that they need to be a big dish that is relatively shallow. If they are in water that is too deep then the 'fog' cant be produced. But if you have a large tank that is big enough to hold a dish, then they work awesome. It definetly adds quite an effect to an enclosure. Oh, they can also melt plastic, so be careful about that.
