Forgive my lack of knowledge but what makes those mystic pins and not regular pins? Is mystic like a line bred thing or is there a certain trait that a "mystic" displays?

Mystics make the potions when combined with the mojave mutation.
What makes those mystic pins is the combination of the two. It's a really subtle mix.
Having said that, those are all frickin' regular pins! Send them to me...$50 bucks for the lot! ;)

Will either of you guys post a good example of a Mystic for me? I'm just not seeing what makes a mystic a mystic which is why I asked if it was a line bred thing :(
Wild; the male in the top right corner of my pic is a stellar example of a Mystic. It is a very subtle gene, looks very similar to a mojave but with starker contrast and colouring with less blushing.
Mystic bred to Mojave can produce the Mystic Potion:

And a Mystic to Lesser produces Karmas (another white snake) Ill have pics of those when they leave their eggs in a few days.

Congrats on the Canadian first, Mykee.
Hope you can really cash out on those because the Mystic Potions look nicer. :p
I can hardly wait to produce a Pinstripe Potion next season if all goes well.
Lots to do with the Mystic/Potion gene.
