Before I go buy it I wanted to make sure Aspen is ok for Rosies. Does it work ok for their humidity requirements (dry)? I'm hoping it might be cleaner/less smelly than the reclaimed cellulose fibre I'm using right now.

Aspen is fine, it does mold fast but that does not apply to you.

ah. Good to know. thanks.
All my lower humidity snakes are on aspen, including my adult Rosys. It works real good. If its Carefresh you are currently using, you will most likely like the aspen better. I used Carefresh for about one small bag and I hated it. I thought it absorbed moisture way worse than aspen and it stank straight out of the bag. However, I know many people do use Carefresh and like it.

Carefresh is for rodents.

I looked up carefresh. It looks very similar to what I am currently using. This stuff says it's for rodents, reptiles, etc... I originally got it because it is very easy to burrow in. He seems to love it...I don't love it though...

It has a crap load of papery dust that I don't would be good for Boaz.

Must be slightly different than carefresh then, but it does smell...and absorb "stuff"! Too bad he likes it so much, but I'm sick of the stuff..
