I could be wrong, but I don't think white phases get much orange, if any, to them. Especially if it's a Bob Clark strain. The only ones that I've noticed that get a bit orange are the lavs and purples. I could be way off base though!
(goes digging through Bob's pics to see lol)

maybe that's what it is, and since more people are focused on lavs and purples, you don't see the yellow of the whites! (personally, I love white phase the best...)

The white phases are gorgeous, yet when I finally get to where I can get my retic, I'm getting a purple. Purple's my favorite color so it only seems fitting for me to get an animals that's partially my favorite color. (there's an orchid corn I want too :D ) I wanted a white phase until I saw the purples, then I just had to have one. lol

lmao, purple and orange don't go together ;D haha. but i do understand. retics are the bomb...you need one already

They look more purple and gold....my old high school (and home state's favorite college football team) colors :D

I want to make sure I have the ability to keep him properly before I get one. I already have the two growing burms. Once I get their (hopefully) permanent enclosures built and start breeding feeders, I'll be ready for one.

I was going to get one this summer, but you know, crap happens. I'm slowly but surely getting everything under control again, so I'm making it a goal to get one after the first of the year. :)

Then a blood, a tegu.....my list is endless lol

Haha, this was a totally random acquisition...my friend was selling him, and i was nervous about where he'd end up...so I took him in. Def want to start breeding my own feeders, and his enclosure will be built here within the next two weeks (SQUEE! It's going to be amazing)

I know what you mean about the endless list...I want a BCI and a GTP and a pied bp...and a female retic. sort of. I would love to see the babies he produces, but i'm also wary about finding homes for the babies...

Pretty much, sunfire and platinum make the yellows turn orange too. Caramel/blonde is another gene with more orange.

Have they tried breeding with a more yellow to those strains? That might be interesting!

Only makes it more orange from what I've seen. Only way to get more yellow is to throw in g-stripe, tiger, or titanium that I know of. Check out the caramel glows from sentec.
