so next weekend is likely when I'll be able to start on pajamas' enclosure...and I have a few last questions. What sealant should i use? I'm going with cabinet grade wood, which will be finished, sanded and then sealed. How do you put a ceramic heat bulb in there without making it dangerous for the snakey-poo? (this is a just in case question, as I've been having super problems with his tank). How much plywood should I use for the frame? (I sew stuff, not build. so sue me). umm...any other advise will be appreciated! (also, I'm doing casters cause I'm a lazy *** when it comes to moving.

so next weekend is likely when I'll be able to start on pajamas' enclosure...and I have a few last questions. What sealant should i use? Water based sealant is best I'm going with cabinet grade wood, which will be finished, sanded and then sealed. How do you put a ceramic heat bulb in there without making it dangerous for the snakey-poo? Use a bulb guard(this is a just in case question, as I've been having super problems with his tank). How much plywood should I use for the frame? Depends on your design and weight of the wood, I have never used an internal frame and I have large stack enclosures (I sew stuff, not build. so sue me). umm...any other advise will be appreciated! (also, I'm doing casters cause I'm a lazy *** when it comes to moving.Ha! all my enclosures are on castors as well

Hope that didn't confuse you further but without the specifics of your design it's hard to figure out what your trying to build.

haha, not a problem!
specifics are: 6'x3'x3', 1/2" wood. If there's anything else you need to know, just ask specifically ;D Is there a special kind of sealant to use, or are any of them ok?

Any water based sealant is fine.
